Jodi Hoover has a BFA in Illustration, a Masters in Library Science and recently completed Masters of Fine Arts from Towson University. Hoover's drawings and prints explore storytelling as a (sometimes unreliable) way to explain the dangerous, beautiful world. Familiar and domestic designs, such as quilt patterns, bleed into fairytale landscapes. The resulting imagery is an uneasy blend of whimsy and threat.
