My multi-use space was put through its multi-use paces today. From photographing artwork to putting together car bumpers. The bumpers for my Karmann Ghia came back awhile ago and today we figured out how to reassemble them. For some reason Fiona found this to be a deeply upsetting process.

New cicada stamps arrived today!! This brings my total to 5 cicada stamps although really one is the same cicada stamp in a different size. The wooden one is really beautiful but difficult to print. .

Artwork is not always fun. The work part is right there in the name and now sometimes the work seems especially pointless. I had not made any forward movement on my drawing in a week so yesterday I forced myself into the studio to start working on the hand cut part of it. Yesterday I drew it out and today I started cutting. I’m not sure if I’m back to excited but at least I did a thing.

Another layer on the drawing and the crow is done. The purple in the crow will be less noticeable once it is combined with the drawing. I’m also waiting on the arrival of some cool new stamps that I really NEEDED to have for this drawing. .
